Three Underground Water Leaks To Go (For Now)
     No town water customers have been shut off for underground leaks in their water pipes, and only three homes still had leaks as of earlier this week, town of­ficials say. The three home owners were in the process of re­placing their underground water pipes this week, said Selectman Rob Garrity, board chairman.

Burglary Arrest Leads To Rampage At Police Station, Police Say
     A 25-year-old Norfolk man with a drug problem stole from his grandmother’s house on the day of his grandfather’s wake and later damaged two cells in the town’s police station, police said. Police got a report of a burglary on Tucker Road at 12:24 p.m. August 16, just hours before the resident’s husband was to be waked.

Late-Night Car Accident Injures Driver
     A 17-year-old Norfolk driver apparently broke his collar bone in a one-car accident on Bridie Lane this past week but refused medical attention at the scene, police said. Police got a report of the accident at 2:07 a.m. Monday, August 30. The boy’s gray 2009 Toyota Corolla hit a tree as he was on his way home, said Norfolk Police Lieutenant Jon Carroll.

Six Arrested In Underage Drinking Party
     A loud, late-night party on Priscilla Avenue led to the arrests of six minors on alcohol charges, includ­ing the 18-year-old man who hosted the party, police said. Police got a call at about 3 a.m. Sunday, August 29 about the noise coming from the home.
