Access Road Added To School Project
     The Norfolk School Building Committee has voted to add an access road from Rockwood Road to the Freeman-Centennial School grounds to the school building project. The committee voted this past Thursday night, after selectmen formally requested them to do so.

     The town’s Board of Selectmen is seek­ing candidates for the nine-member King Philip School Commit­tee. The King Philip School Committee oversees the regional grades-7-through-12 public school system that serves Norfolk, Wrentham, and Plain­ville.

     Selectmen have called a Special Town Meeting for Tuesday, November 9. War­rant articles are due by 4 p.m. Monday, September 13. Selectmen expect to close the warrant Monday, September 27.

Senior Center To Hold Wine-Tasting Party
      The Norfolk Senior Center is plan­ning to hold a wine-tasting party next month. Selectmen this past Monday vot­ed to approve a one-day liquor license at Norfolk Senior Center for the wine-tast­ing party, which is scheduled for 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday, September 20 to celebrate Active Aging Week.
