August Wednesday, August 25 7 p.m. Norfolk trivia is the subject of the final program in the 2009-2010 series History on the Hill, presented by the Norfolk His­torical

Commission. Names like Vinegar Hill, Mount Tisca, Wildcat Road, and Old Meeting House School are among those to be discussed. The program is scheduled to take place in the gazebo on Town Hill in Norfolk Center near Norfolk Public Library, but it could be moved across the street to Room 214 at Norfolk Town Hall at One Liberty Lane in Norfolk Center if the weather is inclement. 8 p.m. The Norfolk Town Clerk’s office is scheduled to stay open late for anyone wishing to register to vote in time for the state pri­mary

in September. The Town Clerk’s office is scheduled to be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, the last day for Norfolk residents to register for the September 14 primary. The Norfolk Town Clerk’s officeis on the ground floor of Nor­folk Town Hall at One Liberty Lane in Norfolk Center. Mail-in registration forms must be postmarked or before Wednesday, August 25.

Monday, August 30 5:30 to 7 p.m. Norfolk Elementary Education Fund is planning to hold a Back to School cookout at Town Hill.
