Julia C. (Conti) Dardi, 90

Julia C. (Conti) Dardi of Norfolk died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Barrington Terrace in Naples, Florida. She was 90.

She had lived in Norfolk for more than 50 years.

She was born in Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Milani) Conti.

She graduated from Roslindale High School in 1937. She continued on to Bridgewater State, where she earned a bachelor of science degree and master of science in education.

She taught for more than 10 years in the Norfolk public schools, and two years at the Wrentham Congregational Cooperative Kindergarten.

She was also the past president of Delta Kappa Gamma.

She was the wife of the late Louis Dardi.

She was the loving mother of Louis E. Dardi of Decatur, Georgia; David M. Dardi of Naples, Florida; and Janet A. Charlton of Plainville.

She was also the grandmother of Michael Dardi of California.

Funeral arrangements, which are private, are being handled by R.J. Ross Funeral Home in Wrentham
