Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony

There will be a parade and ceremo­ny in Norfolk on Memorial Day, Mon­day, May 31, honoring those who have died in military service to our nation. The parade will begin at 8 a.m. Among those marching in the pa­rade will be members of the Franklin V.F.W. Post, the Norfolk American Le­gion Post 335, the Norfolk Board of Se­lectmen, State Senator Richard Ross, members of the Norfolk Lions Club, the King Philip Regional High School KP Marching Band, Norfolk Police Chief Charles Stone Jr., Norfolk Fire Chief Coleman Bushnell, and local Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.

The parade will form at the Fed­erated Church in Norfolk Center, will proceed along Main Street, and enter the cemetery off of Seekonk Street, where a ceremony will take place.
