Water Division Transfer To Pay Wrentham For Water
     Town Meeting approved a transfer this week to pay for $71,000 in Water Division ex­penses for water from Wren­tham. Norfolk has been purchasing water from Wrentham to meet Norfolk’s needs this fiscal year.

Some Romantic Evening
     Town Meeting isn’t usually a barrel of laughs, as local officials and residents peer over the finepoints of budgets and bylaws over the course of several hours late into the night. But the two candidates for moderator in the recent town election both drew laughter dur­ing a discussion of the local meals tax proposal this past Tuesday.

New Guy Is New Boss Of School Committee
     Shawn Dooley is the new chairman of the Norfolk School Committee. Dooley took the reins the say after he was elected to the School Committee last week. Dooley won on a 3-2 vote, meaning the first thing the new School Committee did was to split evenly.
