7:30 p.m. Norfolk Animal Control is spon­soring a Comedy Night at the Improv Asylum at 216 Hanover Street in the North End of Bos­ton.

Funds benefit the town’s animal shelter. Drinks are at 7:30 p.m. followed by comedy at 8. Tickets are $20, half of which go to the animal shelter. To get the right price and to make sure half the money goes to the ani­mal shelter, use the code word “Woof” when calling the ticket officeat 617-263-6887. 10:30 a.m. Ed Morgan is scheduled to per­form his singing and dancing for children of all ages at the com­munity

room of Norfolk Public Library. There is no charge, no age restriction, and no registra­tion required.

Saturday, June 12 Community Day is scheduled to take place as usual at the Hol­mes Transportation Complex on Myrtle Street in Norfolk.
