Joann B. (Lasky) Tyo, 48

Joann B. (Lasky) Tyo of Bellingham died unexpectedly on Fri­day, May 7, 2010 at Landmark Hospital in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She was 48. She was born in Norwood, the daughter of the late John and Doris (Horton) Lasky. She graduated from King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham.

She was a former resident fo Norfolk and Wrentham.

She worked as a secretary for several area businesses. A fun-loving woman, she was an animal lover and she enjoyed skiing, motorcycling, and horses.

She was the wife of 28 years of Bryant G. Tyo of Bellingham.

She was the loving mother of Bryant J. Tyo of Bellingham. She was the sister of Otis “Bud” Campbell of Whitman, Paul Lasky of North Attleborough, Bette Ann Ryan of North Carolina, Alice Brown of Indiana, and the late John Campbell, Carol Camp­bell, David Lasky, and Robert Lasky.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a fos­ter sister, Maude Oliver of Brighton. A wake is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 14 at R. J. Ross Funeral Home at 135 South Street (Route 1A) in Wren­tham. A funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, May 14 at the funeral home. Burial is at Brookdale Cemetery at 86 Brookdale Avenue in Dedham.
