Florence June (Withrow) Boomer, 101

Florence June (Withrow) Boomer, a longtime resident of Norfolk, died Monday, May 10, 2010 at Harrington House in Walpole. She was 101.

She was born in Boston, the daughter of the late William E. and Elizabeth (Best) Withrow. She was educated in Boston. Mrs. Boomer founded Boomer Real Estate in Norfolk in 1950. She was the wife of the late Lauris W. Boomer. She was the mother of Richard I. Boomer, Lawrence W. Boomer, and Jacqueline B. Jordan. She is also survived by fivegrandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A private funeral service is be­ing arranged by R.J. Ross Funeral Home in Wrentham. Burial is to be at Norfolk Cemetery in Nor­folk. In lieu of flowers, contribu­tions in her memory may be made to Walpole Area Visiting Nurse Association, 55 West Street, Wal­pole, Mass. 02081.
