NCTV Showing Programs Previewing Election, Town Meeting

NCTV, the town's local cable-access station, is showing several programs to inform voters about candidates in the upcoming annual town election and the upcoming Town Meeting.

One program is three of the local candidates that recorded “Why I Am Running'' segments. They are Jim Lehan for Selectman, and CiCi Van Tine and Jonathan Smith for Town Moderator.

Another is a Budget Conversation with Lehan, who is chairman of the Board of Selectmen, and Town Administer Jack Hathaway.

The Norfolk Community League sponsored the local Candidates’ Night forum on Tuesday, May 4, which is also airing on NCTV. A debate between the two state Senate candidates, state Representative Richard Ross, a Republican from Wrentham, and Peter Smulowitz, a Democrat and a physician from Needham, is also being show.

These programs are on Channel 22 on Comcast and Channel 42 on Verizon.

To see the playback schedule, go online to www.norfolkcable.com.

Norfolk's annual town election is Tuesday, May 11, as is the special state Senate final election. Annual Town Meeting is scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 18.
