Four Cars Broken Into Four unlocked cars were broken into last weekend, police said. Police received reports from owners about the break-ins on Saturday, April 17, meaning the break-ins occurred either the previous night orearly that morning, said Norfolk Police Lieutenant Jon Carroll. Two unlocked vehicles at a home on Maple Street lost compact discs. An unlocked car on King Street lost a Verizon cell phone and a charger. An unlocked vehicle on Maple Street lost a handicap placard. Overnight break-ins of unlocked vehicles parked in residents’ driveways have been a continuing problem in Norfolk for the past few years. |
