Census: Be Counted

The Norfolk Town Clerk’s office is urging any Norfolk resi­dent who has not received a United States Census form to get one, fill it out, and return it.

Residents who have a post office box instead of a mailbox at their home may not have received a census form. Federal officials use the census to apportion federal House of Representatives districts, state officials use it to apportion state legislative districts, and government at all levels use it to deter­mine where public money should be spent.
