Voter Registration for Upcoming Election and Annual Town Meeting

Wednesday, April 21, 2010, is the last day to register to vote at the Special State Election (May 11), the Annual Town Election (May 11) and the Annual Town Meeting (May 18). Anyone who has not previously registered, is a new resident, or will become 18 on or before May 11 may register by mail or in the office of the Town Clerk. Regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Town Hall is closed on Fri­day. On Wednesday, April 21, the office will remain open until 8 p.m. for Voter Registration. Mail-in registration forms must be postmarked by April 21 or earlier in order to qualify. The polls will be open on Tuesday, May 11 from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. Residents from all precincts vote in the H. Olive Day School Auditorium (rear of building), 232 Main Street, Norfolk. Absentee ballots for both of the May 11 Elections (Special State Election and Annual Town Election) will be available for voters unable to come to the polls on that day. Absentee voting may be done either in person at the Town Clerk’s Office,or by mail.
