Rescue Workers Help Cat Who Got Stuck
     At roughly 7:35 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14, a Norfolk resident called to say there was a cat stuck and suspended by its head in a storm drain on Strawberry Lane in Norfolk. Animal Control OfficerHilary Cohen arrived on scene and called for the fire department to come and assist with the removal of the storm grate.

Voter Registration for Upcoming Election and Annual Town Meeting
     Wednesday, April 21, 2010, is the last day to register to vote at the Special State Election (May 11), the Annual Town Election (May 11) and the Annual Town Meeting (May 18). Anyone who has not previously registered, is a new resident, or will become 18 on or before May 11 may register by mail or in the office of the Town Clerk. Regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Norfolk Firefighters Extinguish Permit Fire Off Of Boardman Street
      (Above and Right): Nor­folk Firefighter/Paramedic Jamie Masterson operates the pump on Squad 1 as Engine 2 supplies water at a permit firewhich extended into the woods of a Boardman Street residence on Thursday, April 15. This in­cident required a full recall of off-duty career and call staff. Six members responded staff­ing the fire apparatus on scene.
