Religion In Norfolk

Editor’s Note: Norfolk has three churches and a fourth church congregation that uses the town’s library.

Next week is Holy Week, which includes the days when Christians commemorate the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, whom Christians worship as God. Below are Holy Week schedules for churches in Norfolk.

A 9 a.m. daily Mass is scheduled as usual for Monday, March 29; Tuesday, March 30; and Wednesday, March 31; but there is no morning Mass on Thursday, April 1, which is Holy Thursday, the day Christians remember Jesus’s institution of the Eucharist. For Easter Sunday (Sunday, April 4), Masses are scheduled for 7:30 a.m., 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and noon.
