An Events Calendar for Norfolk
Monday, March 29 Passover begins at sundown Sunday, April 4 Easter Monday, April 5 Passover ends Tuesday, April 13 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The primary election for the vacant Norfolk, Bristol, and Middlesex state Senate district is scheduled to take place at H. Olive Day School at 232 Main Street in Norfolk. The election is to fill the vacancy left by former state senator Scott Brown’s resignation to become a United States senator. The district includes the town of Norfolk, as well as Wrentham, Plainville, Millis, Sherborn, Needham, North Attleborough, and portions of Franklin, Wellesley, Natick, and Attleboro. Friday, April 23 6 to 9 p.m. The Friends of the Norfolk Public Library plans to hold its annual book sale during the fourth weekend in April. The book sale takes place at the Norfolk Department of Public Works garage at 33 Medway Branch Road. Only members of the Friends group are allowed into the Friday night book sale, and then the book sale open to the general public is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 24. Memberships are $15. For more information about the book sale, go online to www.norfolkbooksale.com. Tuesday, May 11 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Norfolk’s annual town election is scheduled to take place at H. Olive Day School at 232 Main Street in Norfolk. The date is a week later than usual. The general election for the vacant Norfolk, Bristol, and Middlesex state Senate district is also scheduled to take place at the same time. Tuesday, May 18 Norfolk Annual Town Meeting is scheduled to take begin at King Philip Middle School at 18 King Street in Norfolk. The date is a week later than usual.
