John V. Kane Sr.

John V. Kane Sr., 85, of Walpole died on March 9, 2010. He was A World War II U.S. Army Veteran, and he received the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.

He was the former owner of the Crown Copy Center in West Roxbury.

He was the beloved hus­band of Mary Thea (Prender­gast) of Walpole. He is also survived by fivechildren: Cynthea and her husband Atty. Steven Mur­phy

of Norfolk, Atty. Stephen M. and his wife Cindy Kane of Newton, John V. Jr. and his wife Carolyn Kane of Califor­nia,

and Richard F. and his wife Kristen Kane of Med­field. He was the brother of the late James Kane.

He is also survived by 10 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral from the Alex­ander F. Thomas & Sons Fu­neral Home, Walpole. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Sacrament Church, Walpole. Interment St. Joseph’s Cem­etery, West Roxbury.
