Norfolk Forms Nutrition Task Force
     A group called the Norfolk Nutrition Task Force was formed in January. The volunteer group consists of parents, school administrators and the food service director for the K-6 school district. The leader of the group, Jane Sylvestre, is a registered dietician.

Maggie Chipman Wins Spelling Bee
     Following in the footsteps of her older siblings, Norfolk resident Maggie Chipman, a fifth grader at Blessed Sacrament School in Walpole, was the 1st place winner in the school’s recent annual schoolwide spelling bee. Maggie’s older brother Ryan and her older sister Michaela have been past champions.

Free Legal Session For Veterans
     State Representative Richard Ross is pleased to announce that the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) will be hosting its an­nual Dial-A-Lawyer programming on Thursday, April 29. The pro­gram is dedicated solely to veterans’ legal questions and is part of the MBA’s “Serving Our Veterans in the Law” initiative.

Girl Scout Troop Seeks Donations of Blankets
     Girl Scout Troop 3611 is seeking donations of new or gently used, twin-sized blan­kets or comforters to con­tribute to the Medway House Family Shelter. Donations can be dropped off at the Norfolk Public Li­brary, in the front lobby, from March 15-30. All used items should be laundered and placed in a bag.
