Firefighters Respond to Frederickson Road Home

Above, Norfolk Firefighter/Paramedic Mark Amiot awaits further orders after raising the aerial ladder to the roof of a Frederickson Road residence on Tuesday, March 9 at about 4 p.m. The residents called 911 reporting a possible electrical fire in the home. Emergency personnel found a burned out surge protector and determined the electrical firewas due to a problem with the electrical connection from the street service. Electrical Inspector Ron Bain responded and had NStar correct the problem. NorĀ­folk responded with 2 engines and a ladder truck staffed by 8 firefighters and Fire Chief Coleman Bushnell.
