Rachel Miller Makes Dean’s List at West Point

Cadet Rachel Miller (pho­to, right), daughter of Roy and Diane Miller of Norfolk, has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall Semester - Au­gust

through December at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York.

To earn this distinction, a cadet must maintain a 3.0 av­erage in all courses. Miller graduated from King Philip High School in Wren­tham in 2009 and will be com­missioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army upon gradua­tion at West Point.

The mission of the U.S. Military Academy is to educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of char­acter committed to the values of Duty, Honor, Country and prepared for a career of profes­sional excellence and service to the Nation as an officer in the United States Army.
