Have you entered the 2010 Friends of the Norfolk Public Library Readers’ Raffle yet? The Raffle is open to all who join the Friends during the ongoing member­ship drive. The winner will receive a gift certificate for $125, good toward brand new books of their choosing in any genre, and worth even more than face value because it’s based on the library’s discounted rate for books. \ The winner will also take home the Friends Tote Bag (photo, right) cur­rently on display at the library, and filled - just in time for spring planting - with several gardening books, seed packets, tools, small wind chimes, gloves, hand cream and more. Relax afterward with the included herbal teas and cookies, cozy under your tri-color Norfolk af­ghan. The raffle drawing will be held on Friday, April 23 during the Annual Fri­day Night Friends-Only Preview and Book Sale; participants need not be present to win.
