Religion In Norfolk

Editor’s Note: Norfolk has three churches and a fourth church congregation that uses the town’s library. St. Jude’s is planning to offer confessions from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays during Lent, part of the Archdiocese of Boston’s “The Light is On For You” program. The regular confession schedule of 4 to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays also continues. Also at St. Jude’s: on Thursday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. Deacon David Ghioni leads a holy hour including exposition and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the rosary, and a benediction. During Lent, the holy hour includes Stations of the Cross.

The Federated Church of Norfolk plans to show Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009; rated PG) at 7 p.m. Friday, March 12 for its monthly movie night. Admission is $5 and includes bottomless drinks and popcorn. Space is limited, so to reserve a spot call the church office at 508-528-0262 or send an email message to mail@fcon.org.
