      Claire Diane Forte was born on February 18, 2010 to proud parents Scott and Stacy Forte of Norfolk. The baby weighed 8 lbs., 10 oz. and was 20 inches long. She was welcomed by her very proud big sister, Katie.

Girl Scout Troop Seeks Donations of Blankets

     Girl Scout Troop 3611 is seeking donations of new or gently used, twin-sized blankets or comforters to contribute to the Med­way House Family Shelter. Donations can be dropped off at the Norfolk Public Library, in the front lobby, from March 15-30. All used items should be laundered and placed in a bag.

Adirondack Club Announces Spin For Hope

     The Adirondack Club is pleased to be a participating club in the American Cancer Society’s Spin for Hope 2010. Spin for Hope is a three-hour indoor cycling event to raise funds for the fight against cancer. The event will take place on Sunday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to noon.
