Someone broke into a weld­ing shop on North Street earlier this month and stole cable cut­ters

as well as copper cable from welding machines worth about $2,000, police said.

A back window was broken at Scott’s Welding Shop, which is located near where Union Street meets North Street, said Norfolk Police Lieutenant Jon Carroll. Police got the report Friday, February 5.
