Police: Valentine’s Day Dispute Turns Into Road Rage A 58-year-old Norfolk man who got into a late-night argument with woman at a bar followed her when she left and later cut her off on Union Street this past weekend, police said. The 38-year-old Franklin woman told police she stopped her car in the middle of the road after the man cut her off with the black 2004 Toyota RAV sport utility vehicle he was driving, said Norfolk Police Lieutenant Jon Carroll. She said the man had rained down a torrent of verbal abuse on her when they were at the bar.The argument started at Guido’s Restaurant on Route 1A in Norfolk and ended when police arrested the man on charges of accosting or annoying a person of the opposite sex, operating under the influence of liquor, and disturbing the peace. The incident took place at about 1:09 a.m. Sunday, February 14 on Union Street not far from Ash Road. |
