Happy Birthday, Norfolk

The town of Norfolk turns 140 on Tuesday, February 23, the date the Massachusetts Legislature incorpo­rated the town. The Norfolk Historical Commission is sponsoring an event next week to provide information about the forma­tion of the town. A narrated slideshow of the town’s centennial celebration of 1970 is also planned for the event, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednes­day, February 24 in Room 214 at Nor­folk Town Hall at One Liberty Lane in Norfolk Center.
