Sara Schoentag, 70 Sara Schoentag, 70, of Enfield,Connecticut died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 in hospice at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. She was born November 7, 1939 in Green Forest, Arkansas, the daughter of the late John Paul Donaldson and Gwendolyn (Stroud) Donaldson.She enjoyed volunteering at Enfield Loaves and Fishes and was committed to helping the needy by donating food, clothing, blankets, and other much-needed household items. Sara was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her generous, loving, and caring spirit. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and they will always hold a special place in their hearts for Nana as she touched them so dearly. Sara is survived by her beloved husband, Louis Schoentag of Enfield,Connecticut. She also leaves her two daughters: Kendra Kannally, of Norfolk, Massachusetts, and her husband Jay Kannally and their two children, Paige and James; and Jill Springer of Lebanon, Connecticut, and her husband David Springer and their daughter Rachael. Sara will also be missed by her sisters: Judith Fraley, and her husband Lewis Fraley, of Caldwell, Texas and their two children, Lewis and Amber; Gail Donaldson, and her husband Karl Unruh, of Newark, Delaware. She also leaves her aunt, Peggy Jane Windham of Marietta, Georgia. A celebration of her life was held Saturday, February 6 at Leete Stevens EnfieldChapels in Enfield,Connecticut.
