Norfolk Firefighters Help Put Out Fire at Auto Parts Junk Yard in Wrentham

Norfolk Firefighters responded to Wrentham on Thursday, Febru­ary 4 at about 1 p.m. for a fire at the Armitage Auto Parts junk yard located at 1143 South Street (Route 1A). Members staffed Engine 2, which first covered the Wrentham station and then was called to the incident to relieve firefighters. Ladder 1 was also called to refillfire­fighter

Norfolk’s units joined Wrentham, Plainville, Franklin and Fox­boro Fire Departments at the fire. Medfield Fire Department cov­ered the Norfolk station. Norfolk responded again to Wrentham on Friday, February 5th for house fire on Thurston Street. Engine 2 covered the Wrentham station at 7:30 a.m.
