Ski Mask Robber Invades Home On Arnold Road

Norfolk police are investigating a home inva­sion on Arnold Road in Norfolk this past Saturday night.

A woman was in her kitchen holding her 1-year-old child in her arms when a man wearing a black ski mask entered the home, brandishing a small black handgun, police said.

“He demanded her purse, at which time a short struggle ensued, and he then fled the residence,” police said in a written statement. The woman called police at about 7:01 p.m. to report the incident. Police dogs and a State Police helicopter searched the area for the man, but police couldn’t findhim.

The suspect is described as a white man in his early 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black hooded jacket with red trim, dark sweatpants, Timberland-style workboots, and black gloves.
