Police called to a burglary scene at a storage area for contractors near Route 1A discovered a second break-in nearby, Norfolk Police Lieutenant Jon Carroll said.

Police got a report at 8:55 a.m. Mon­day, January 11 that someone over the weekend had used bolt cutters to break into contractor storage areas, making off with a commercial pump and a coil of copper wire. Footprints in the snow led OfficerThomas Degnim to discover a break-in at a landscaper’s storage shed on David Road nearby. A snowblower had been taken from the shed, Carroll said.
