To the Editor: Please tell me how the Town of Wrentham is having plummet­ing

land and house values and Norfolk is raising all its land and house taxes this year? They said last year that they had 2007 val­ues

to figure the taxes. The 2007 values were higher than the 2008 values. Now they say they will have to raise taxes on everything but somehow they are not using 2008 values which are lower than the 2007 values. There must be an explanation somewhere but prob­ably

the great wizards of Norfolk will not tell you a good explana­tion. I could send this letter to the Selectmen or some other group, but true to Norfolk’s nature they will never answer me. It is a closed society in Norfolk politics. Do not let the people know anything and maybe we can get away with some­thing. I am sending this news to The Norfolk Boomerang because maybe the truth will get out. It is about time that something is done about the underhanded acts that happen many times. Now they are blaming the tax increase on the State. How handy.
