These geese didn’t seem to mind the frigid early-morning temperatures a couple of weekends ago, as they looked for food on the Stop River, which forms the border between Norfolk and Walpole at Clark Street.

The geese shown in the dis­tance were swimming on the south side of Clark Street, while the ones shown closer up were swimming on the north side.
