Helen M. Daniels, 88

Helen M. Daniels, 88, of Brockton died on Friday, January 1, 2010.

She was born on June 2, 1921 in Westwood, loving daughter of Charles and Selma (Erickson) Vinson.

She was formerly of Lowell.

She had a heart that cared deeply for those who suffered with mental disability. She worked at the former Wrentham State School. At the time of her retirement she was working as a charge nurse.

She was the beloved widow of Robert M. Daniels, who died on January 26, 1995.

She is survived by her loving children: Carole A. Lacasse of South Attleboro, Helen M. Thayer of Norfolk, Robert R. Daniels of Wrentham, Charles D. Daniels of Avon Park, Florida, Richard A. Daniels of Millis, and Ted W. Daniels of Franklin.

She was also mother of the late Donna L. Kostka.

She was the devoted grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were handled by R.J. Ross Funeral Home in Wrentham.
